T.E. Hulme: An Introduction by Helene S.

I have chosen a poet who was part of movement most often forgotten. Thomas Ernest Hulme is my poet for this assignment and he stands out to me in more ways than one. He and his group of bohemian friends, including great poets such as Ezra Pound and F.S. Flint, represented a poetry counterculture. They rebelled against centuries old rhetoric used in the Romantic period. This group of poets is now known as the “School of Images”.
