Why I chose H. D. Lawrence- Tiffany Eberhard

David Herbert Richards Lawrence, or D. H. Lawrence, was born in 1885 in England to a poor family. His poetry works reflect a sense of personal intuition over reason. He was extremely controversial for his time and shunned most modern industrial views. This is interesting to me and I wish to further learn why D. H. Lawrence wrote the poems that caused so much uproar.
